I love the blog!! Keep posting, it's exciting to keep following your adventures. I'm on call right now and had a free second. It's been a busy day for Ortho. I think they're finally giving me a long leash on the service and letting me do the reductions and splinting alone.

Anyway, I miss the rain on the tin roofs like in the D.R. It could get deafening! Do you guys have a lot of frogs? My second favorite thing about the heavy tropical rain was all the frogs that would come out of nowhere and perch (and sing) on the window sills. One night in La Vega, a frog jumped off the window and landed squarely on Elder Lundmark's mouth while he was sleeping. Good times. My least favorite thing about the rain (other than the mud) was the rats. For some reason, rain would force the rats to come up through the toilets.
